We sold this gangway system to David in Washington. He already had a stationary wood dock and an existing floating dock but needed to replace his connection between the two. The gangway was 28’ long and 4’ wide with a live load capacity of 1,000 lbs. The system was installed on the Puget Sound and took advantage of our ABYC saltwater approved designs.
David and his grandson assembled the first couple of sections in their garage before moving outside to the stationary dock and building the rest out. We supplied seawall brackets and rollers so that the gangway could bolt to the stationary dock and roll along the floating dock. The entire process took David and his grandson a couple of days to complete and install.
